At Cincinnati Children's, we emphasize that we are better together—the key word being "together." We help, we coach, we brainstorm, we teach—and all of us are stronger for it.

In this issue, we get a glimpse of the important work our faculty are doing to find cures and improve care. See the breadth and depth of talent we honored recently at our 12th annual faculty award ceremony.

Then read about Debbie Ogden, an executive assistant in Development, who spends much of her free time helping athletes with special needs realize their potential in ways they never dreamed of, via the Special Olympics.

Check out Chinmayee Nagaraj's story about her role as a genetic counselor and what it means to families when they finally have answers and a diagnosis for their child.

We also have a story about exciting things that are happening in the Fetal Care Center at Cincinnati Children's. This collaboration involving UC Health and TriHealth has allowed us to build a center that is one of the most comprehensive of its kind in the world.

And finally, learn how the Division of Speech-Language Pathology conspired to honor a retiring colleague with a book donation that will help Transitional Care Center patients with language and literacy development.

Better together? You bet!
