Change is in the air as the temperatures grow cooler and the leaves turn to shades of scarlet, orange and gold. There's change going on at Cincinnati Children's, too, as you'll see with our first story announcing Steve Davis, MD, MMM, MS, as our new president and CEO.

Many of you already know and work with Steve, but our profile of him provides more insight into who he is on a personal and professional level.

We also have a story about the new Minor Illness Clinic, designed to take the pressure off our emergency departments during the pandemic. It's yet another example of how quickly and effectively Cincinnati Children's teams come together to meet the needs of patients and families.

On a more global scale, be sure to read about Juan Patino and his determination to find a path to health with the help of Marc Rothenberg, MD, and the Cincinnati Children’s Center for Eosinophilic Disorders.

October also means it's time for our United Way campaign. You'll find information about how United Way makes wise use of your donation dollars to better the lives of people in our community. Please make your pledge today!
